Golden hour (1 hour prior to sunset) is the best time of day to take the most beautiful bride & groom portraits. Are you willing to sneak away for about 15 minutes for these? (if weather/timeline allows)?

Traditionally, I eat when you eat. That gives me time for a meal and avoids the glamorous "stuffing your faces" photos! Does this work for you?

If you are doing a send-off, are you open to a staged send-off? I am more than happy to stay until the end of the evening, I've just noticed that this can save you money (with me) but there is also a larger crowd earlier in the evening! It can be a fun way to take a break from dancing and head right back to partying

What part of your wedding gallery are you most excited about? Emotional/fun couples portraits, candid moments, the beautiful details, family formals (we all know group family photos are rare!), the party at the reception, guests enjoying the celebration, etc. Let me know and I'll keep it in mind during your big day!

Additional Information!

Every couple is different, if detail photos are important to you then this is for you! I typically suggest gathering your special + important items and having them all in one box or easy to grab location on the big day!

Some items I always suggest, if you have them;

Perfume/cologne, shoes, jewelry - earrings, necklace, etc, wedding stationary: (invites or save-the-dates or wedding programs,) vow books, rings - include wedding bands AND engagement rings! Ring boxes or ring dishes, bouquets, veil, cufflinks or tie clip, wedding dress hanger, garter, watch, heirlooms…

Something borrowed, something blue, something old, something new!

A big part of the day is always family/group photos.

To help this part of your day go as seamlessly as possible I suggest creating a list of the groupings that are important to you. (For example: Bride + Groom with mom and dad, Bride with just mom, Bride with just dad, Bride + Groom with mom, dad, siblings. Bridge + Groom with mom, dad, siblings, and grandparents.) After that list is completed, assign a point person to assist with gathering those individuals. I typically suggest a Maid of Honor or close friend that knows both sides of the family. Since I don’t know who belongs to who, this helps cut down on the time we take out of your day for these photos!
